About AVO 787

The line. AVO 787 launched in 2007 as a regular-production descendant of AVO 22. Its 22-count boxes used seven-eight-seven layers. Hendrik Kelner created the blend. A January 2011 report said the line was discontinued. zencigar.wordpress.com

The brand. AVO is named for jazz musician Avo Uvezian. Uvezian met Hendrik Kelner in 1987. Their first AVO cigar followed in 1988. Davidoff of Geneva USA distributes AVO. Oettinger Davidoff lists AVO within its premium cigar business. Tabadom manufactured the historical 787 line. cigaraficionado.com
